So I've been hearing about this thing called "3D Television" and it's got me interested, however there are a few problems I foresee. I will list the pros and cons (my opinion here)
Pros: Obviously the 3d aspect. I've seen many films in the theater in 3d (Real D, with the clear glasses) and while it's still an early technology, it's pretty good.
Who doesn't want to watch football and see Brett Favre actually IN your living room? That alone makes it even more exciting.
Cons: The price. I want 3d, but I'm not about to spend 1500 bucks on a TV to get it. I'll wait until the price goes down.
The glasses. I don't want to have to wear those glasses every time I want to play a round of Call of Duty.
I haven't seen any study on long term effects on the eyes. I know if I sit at a 3d movie, 2 hours later my eyes are sore and I feel a migraine coming along. Not good.

I'm sure in a couple of years when the technology is perfected prices will go down some but until then I think I'm going to stick with my 32" LCD HDTV.
